1. Behave the same way, be it in the dark or light

Doing evil deeds, mistakes secretly humans pretend to be good. He may avoid getting caught by by others ad they may not know his personality but – God is omnipresent, aware of all and can’t cheat and escape god.

2. Pray inner-self to see god and showoffs will not help.

When you pray from deep heart you can focus on lord, surface prayers wont give any results.

One must be devoted to his belief and pray with purest mind. outer ward Showoff may falsely satisfy people around but the inner soul will not get connected to lord. Pray whole heatedly and prayers will be answered.

3. God is not found when roaming places,
Purify your body and mind to see god

Adavi diruga jikka daakasamunaledu
Avani teerthayaathralandu ledu |
Odalu shuddhichesi Odayani choodaraa
Vishwadaabhiraama vinura Vemaa ||

God is not found by Roaming in jungle or in the sky, not in pilgrimage to holy places on the earth. Purify your body and mind and see god

4. Indriya nigraham – Control senses for wisdom

Adimi manasu nilipi aanandakelilo
Brahmamayudu mukhti badayagoru |
Jihvaruchulacheta Jeevundu chedunayaa
Vishwadaabhiraama vinura Vemaa ||

Controlling mind, enjoy praying god, learned person / brahma jnani seek salvation. One who fell for Indriyalu (sensnes) will get spoiled.

Indriya nigraham – control of senses:  Vision  (dristi), Hearing (srota), Smell (ghrana), Taste (jihva ruchi), Touch (sparsha)

5. Lead debt free life and enjoy its power

Appu dooyarotha HariHaraadulakaina
Moppethoda maithri modale rotha |
Tappu balukarotha taakattidina rotha
Vishwadaabhiraama vinura Vemaa ||

Borrowing is disgusting even to Vishnu and Shiva. Friendship with fool is always disgusting. Speaking wrong is disgusting, mortgaging is disgusting

6. By outer looks we can’t identify a generous donor

Oddu podugu galigi gaddambu podugaina
Daana gunam leka daata yagune |
Enumu goppadaina Enugu bolunaa
Vishwadaabhiraama vinura Vemaa ||

Having good height, long beard will not make one donor with out giving. Buffalo may be great but will never compare to an elephant
By outer looks we can’t decide if one is generous donor

Having generosity, donation attitude, helping nature is very important. One may be great in appearance, extravagant outlooks and and is never recognized for them but his dana gunam. Elephant is majestic and good in nature, a buffalo eve if its big will never be smooth and elegant as elephant.

7. You cannot turn a fool into wise.

Eddukaina gaani yedaadi telipina
Maata telisi nadachu marmamerigi |
Moppe teliyaledu muppadendlakunaina
Vishwadaabhiraama vinura Vemaa ||

If you teach a bull a year it will follow orders and behave properly. Even if you teach a fool for 30 years – he will not learn  and behave wisely.

We domesticate animals and train our pets – they follow our orders and behave wisely. Even though they are less intelligent than humans. Some people, Fools – they don’t budge an inch what ever is told to them. They behave what they like. They don’t understand wisdom words advise even if that benefits them. You may do any thing but not turn a fool to wise.

8. Stay away from Gambling, bad habits, cheating as they never result in good

Koliche Dharmaraaju kori Viratu |
KaalaKarmaGatulu kanipettavalenayaa
Vishwadaabhiraama vinura Vemaa ||

Dharmaraj wore kaashaya/saffron cloths and changed his name to Kamkubhattu and joined to serve Virata king. Need to be vigilant on time, own karma and perform good deeds.

Kaalam karmam – time and destiny will play a great role in our lives. Even Yudhistir could not escape the fate doomed for him. He changed his identity, wore saffron cloths served Virata king.

9. Waiting for time to come for charity and praying god?

Kaliminaadu Narudu kaanadu madamuna
Lemi naadu petta ledu modale |
Kalimi lemi leni kaalambu kalugunaa
Vishwadaabhiraama vinura Vemaa ||

When in prosperity humans live by pride and when in poverty they can’t begin charity. Do one think of charity when in no prosperity and no poverty?

Do this time come? Who is poor strive to become rich and prosperous. Once rich he lives in pride. – know your identity and live by values and develop charity.

10. The supreme being is ONE called by different names.

Kunda Kumbha mandru konda parvata mandru
Uppu lavaNamandru okatigaade |
Bhashalinte veru paratatva mokkate
Vishwadaabhiraama vinura Vemaa ||

Pot is called Kumbham, hill is called mountain, salt is called LavaNam – are they not same?
Called by different names in different languages – the essence is same, the para tatvam is one.

Realize that the supreme being is one and only one calling by different names of the same entity.
