Parents care for children is to make them strong, powerful and caring people of tomorrow.
When a baby is born the joy of the parents knows no bounds and they are prepared to invite their bundle of joy into this world and in fact their world.
All our lifestyles get adjusted to give best possible comfort to the baby. Parents sacrifice their comforts; spend sleepless nights in growing up the baby.
There will be pampers, pats on the back, pet calling, tender care and try to capture every moment for life.
As the days pass the babies become kids, then teens and adults, who get wings and want to test them always and ready to fly anytime. They are doing what you have done with you parents. Once kids leave it may a weekly or monthly visits by them to your place even if they stay in your city. If they go to far off places – the visits would be monthly if you are lucky parents and may be once in a quarter which slowly become yearly visits.
Later part of the story is, Your children get into relationship and ypu settle them down with wedlock – then don’t expect them to focus on you but allow them to be free and extend guidance when asked for it, else they get bored and avoid you.
Now the values you impart and treatment you gave to your children matters – the good gets good and bad gets bad. When you don’t care them while they are young and growing, don’t expect them to care you anytime.
When children fly – What holds them back to you is ROOTS like a string and kite. Kite may soar to heights but string holds it to be stable and strong. Bonding and Ties should not be cut from parents or children as you are the bridge of past and future.
What parents wish is – to teach them skills to survive in this world and learn to overcome difficulties, be effective leaders, be effective parents for their children and to reciprocate love for them when they are old.
Always extend unconditional love towards your children, but don’t expect for you will get same back. Do not spoil them with excess – provide just what is needed and never offer more than they need.
Boys become men and girls become women – Impart values and life skills, mend them while they are girls and boys and accept them what they are when they grown up and don’t expect miracles but natural reciprocity.
Be a role model for your kids and they don’t like pulling them down or comparing with others always. Praise them, pamper them and listen to them. Be wise to explain scenarios and repercussions and leave them to brainstorm.
Any one’s action after thinking the results would be mostly positive. The results tend to be negative many times, when actions are done in haste.
Don’t worry much about their future when they are toddlers, give your time to them, be close to them and enjoy their association as they are today.
Don’t forget to use the phrases liberally like – Good morning, good night, My dear loving son/daughter, You are best, I love you and like that. Hug them, kiss them, Pamper them, avoid harsh words or shoutings.
Children are honest and truthful. Be honest with them and they return same to you.
It’s more important to keep in contact/communication with them always. Trust them and assure them of your support always.
Each child is unique creation of almighty; allow them to grow them as individual to tap their fullest potential.
Learning is by imitation and kids are best imitators good or bad, hence becareful and be one to expect your kid to be same one.
